We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Developerto join a dynamic project focused on developing batch ETL solutions, data lakes, data marts, and Power BI reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: Design and execute data models to support project requirements.
• ETL Development: Build batch ETL pipelines to ingest diverse data sources, including transactional systems and traditional BI sources.
• Testing: Conduct unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Documentation & Support: Maintain detailed documentation and provide ongoing support for delivered products.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business requirements into actionable specifications and implementation steps.
• User Acceptance Testing: Participate in UAT as needed.

 

Project Overview

The role supports the delivery of an extended Data Lake and dashboards for downstream operations. The solution focuses on harmonized data and reporting, combining enterprise-level report development with self-service analytics.

 

Key Deliverables Include:

• Data ingestion, cleanup, staging, and usage processes.
• Development of data marts aligned with business needs.
• Dashboards and reporting that provide measurable business value.

 

Technical Environment

The project leverages the Microsoft technology stack and an internally developed data framework.

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data modeling and batch ETL solution development.
• Hands-on experience with data lake and data mart development.
• Proficiency in creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong testing skills (unit, functional, and integration).
• Excellent documentation skills and the ability to provide post-delivery support.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Agile mindset and familiarity with iterative delivery processes.

 

Preferred Experience

• Working in an agile environment with sprint cycles.
• Developing solutions for logistics or similar industries.

 

Duration: 7 months

Capacity: 5 Man-Days/Week

 

A valid working permit in Hungary is mandatory.

Fluency in the Hungarian language is required.
